The event is the last round of the 2022 WA State Enduro Championship.
It is also one of the last enduro events for WA teams to prepare for the 2023 A4DE and get their work period at the end of Day 1 running smoothly when only the rider can work on the bike.

How to:
APPLY FOR A ONE-EVENT BIKE REGISTRATION
Permits must be applied for by you at least 14 days prior to the event, by Sunday 11th September.
Riders may apply by completing and submitting the form on the below link:
Grimwade 2022 Over 48 Hour Rally ENDURO BIKE Permit Application
Email the “Over 48Hour Bike Special Permit” application form fully completed & signed directly to: tps@transport.wa.gov.au
(Note: you will need to supply your bike information, Engine & Vin Number when completing the form).
If you have applied for the permit and do not have a confirmation email back from DOT within 24 hours CONFIRMING RECEIPT OF YOUR EMAIL call the DOT Kelmscott, Telephone: (08) 9216 8579. You should then get a request to pay the DOT for your permit within a few business days of your application. They will then email your permit direct to you.
NOTE: Your Department of Transport issued Over 48Hour Bike Special Rally Permit number must then be supplied on your online entry, shown to officials at rider sign-on, and carried on your person while riding this event.
