In 2004 the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (International Motorcycling Federation) celebrated its Centenary. It was founded on December 21, 1904, in the rooms of the restaurant Ledoyen in Paris, under the name of Fédération Internationale des Clubs Motocyclistes.
Today, the organisation has in excess of 21,000 competitors, more than 350 affiliated clubs, and over 3000 registered officials. Motorcycling Australia will continue to serve its members and the motorcycle sport community, to ensure the healthy future of motorcycle sport.
MWA is the recognised state controlling body for all forms of motorcycle sport in Western Australia. It is affiliated with and represents in WA, the national controlling body, Motorcycling Australia (MA) which, in turn, is affiliated with the international controlling body, the Federation Internationale Motorcycliste (FIM).
The Recreational Trailbike Riders Association of WA (RTRA) has been formed to represent your interests as a responsible recreational trail bike rider.
Membership is open to riders of registered or unregistered trail or motocross bikes or quads, regardless of age.
